Hayao Miyazaki is a Japanese film director, animator, manga artist, producer, and screenwriter. He co-founded Studio Ghibli, and his success has been comparable to that of Walt Disney.

Spirited Away

He is most well known for writing and directing Spirited Away. When the film was released in 2001, it became the most successful film in Japanese history. It is considered one of the greatest animated films of all time.
